Information Collection & Use
We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. As a non-profit, community-based organization, we do not sell advertising space to anyone but our members. We do not distribute your information to non-member, third parties.

Requesting General Information for Your Wedding and Honeymoon Services

Your general information request or contest entry will be responded to in a general manner. Our members are bound by the following four rules:

1. Our members will not respond to your general information request more than once.
2. Our members will not share your email address or other information with a third party business.
3. Our members will not promote other businesses within their email responses to you.
4. Our members will only send business-related emails. Responses of a political or religious nature, or emails that are obviously chain letters or other types of spam are against the bylaws of our Association.

We encourage you to report any misuse of your information to support@tahoeweddings.org.

When you fill out an information request or enter an online contest on our site, the Lake Tahoe Wedding and Honeymoon Association will keep track of the information you provide to us and will keep your information for a period of time, providing your information to our members. We also may keep your information for statistical purposes.

If you do not wish to share your information with all of our members, we suggest that you contact individual members through our Directory rather than sending a general information request or submitting a contest entry.

Requesting Information from Specific Wedding and Honeymoon Service Providers

By contacting our members directly with email correspondence or a phone call, you can expect to receive more specific information, such as price lists, brochures, referrals, etc.

If you choose to contact individual members through the Directory on our website, the Lake Tahoe Wedding and Honeymoon Association cannot police what will be done with your information. Our members may choose to respond to you as often as they deem necessary and may share your information with other service providers who may not be members.

Use of Web Technologies
We do the best to remain up-to-date with the most recent technologies. If you encounter any technical problems, please advise us at support@tahoeweddings.org.

Links 
Our website does not contain illegal or pornographic images or content, nor do our members post this kind of content on their websites. However, when you decide to visit an individual member’s site, the Lake Tahoe Wedding and Honeymoon Association has no control over what content they will link to.

We check our member’s links and information from time to time, but sometimes, their website addresses or contact information changes without our knowledge. If you find any dead links or links to information that is illegal or pornographic, please report this to support@tahoeweddings.org for our immediate attention.

Security
We take every precaution to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information by using industry-recognized security measures.

Choice opt-out 
Once you submit an information request or contest entry, there is no choice to opt-out from receiving information, and you will be added to our Association’s database. We do not condone members placing your information on their future bulk emailing lists, but as an Association, we have no way of policing this if it occurs.

Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on www.tahoeweddings.org so our visitors are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
